Málkafé is a free, recurring event which first started in September 2022. Volunteers use various ways to help practise Faroese, for example by speaking, reading, playing games and doing other activities.
In Tórshavn, Málkafé / Language Café will take place every Wednesday between 17.00 – 19.00 on the ground floor of Býarbókasavnið.
At Málkafé one can get at a free warm drink, juice and a sweet snack, meet new people and practice Faroese. Our volunteers keep children company while the adults practice their Faroese skills.
*drop-in means that everyone can come and go as they please. We understand that people are very busy, so it is possible to pop by for as long or as short as people prefer.
